It all about the Eyes…

Permanent makeup lash enhancement or eyeliner treatments can be applied to the upper, lower or both lash lines to define and accentuate the eyes, improving the shape and balance as well as creating the illusion of fuller, thicker lashes.

I have had a lash enhancement procedure on my own eyes, and I love it.  I was a little nervous the first time I had it done, wondering how the technician would get so close to my eyes and if I could keep still….

I needn’t have worried though.  It was a virtually painless procedure as a topical anaesthetic was applied beforehand and the technician used a strong stretch which stopped me from blinking.  I’ve never looked back!  I have quite small eyes and feel that the lash enhancement treatment really opened up the overall look of my eyes and makes me feel like I have makeup on when I haven’t!

The procedure takes about an hour and half to complete with a complimentary top up treatment between four to six weeks later.  Afterwards I felt a little sore, but nothing to complain about.  I would say the day after the procedure, I had some minor swelling and soreness but by the end of the day this had subsided.

We offer a wide range of styles and colours to suite every taste.  I would say lash enhancement is the most popular in our clinic.  It creates a subtle effect, a fine mist of pigment is applied through the lash line to create the appearance of denser, thicker lashes.  It certainly emphasizes my motto of less is more!

Permanent Makeup Eyeliner

A perfect line of pigment that never smudges.  It really is a girl’s best friend.

Styles can include pencil, liquid, soft-shaded, two-toned – all tailored to suit your desired look.

We use a variety of medical grade, hypoallergenic iron oxide, carbon, or hybrid-based pigments, which are suitable for even for the most sensitive of eyes and contact lens wearers.  Permanent eyeliner and lash enhancement is also an ideal solution for those with allergies or struggle to apply makeup.

Classic black is the most popular colour choice; however, we offer a wide selection of beautiful pigment tones, including browns, blues, greys, and greens.

Once the treatment is complete, your eyeliner/lash enhancement will appear a little darker than expected as the pigment is on top of the skin as well as underneath – nothing to worry about; the colour will soften and lighten during the initial healing process as the outside layer flakes away.  This normally takes anything from a few days to a week, varying from person to person.  The true colour will show through by weeks four to six once the underneath layer of skin is healed properly.

Don’t forget, I offer complimentary consultations, so if you would like to find out if this is the treatment for you, do please get in touch.
